Its Been Awhile...

Amongst getting Waylon and myself into a school routine, he gets sick and misses 4 days of school during the first week ~~> NOT GOOD!! Anywho, its been awhile and I've been super busy. I have started yet another business (this time I'm riding SOLO), and I've added a link on here so that you can check my other hobbies out. I've come to realize that I really, really enjoy sewing and crafting almost as much as I did when my Nanny was alive. It gives me peace and happiness once I've completed a project. So with that being said I've started up Southern Blessings Boutique, the name coming from my 3 little blessings the God has allowed me to watch grow and love so much each and everyday. Not only am I hoping to enjoy what I am doing but to also make a little money while doing it so that I may continue to stay at home and raise my babies. Needless to say it is still in the development stage of things but hopefully if the good Lord is willing it will turn out for the best!! 5 Years Ago

Five years ago I was blessed with the best gift ever, my son Waylon. I can honestly say that he has made me a better person. I don't know where I'd be if he hadn't come along. I remember the first time I laid eyes on him, I said I'm not going to be one of the moms that just cries her eyes out. Guess what I did...cried my eyes out. He was perfect. I have been blessed beyond anything I could ever imagine, I have a wonderful husband and 3 great kids. Looking back through pictures I had many memories to come flooding back to me: the first cows he ever had, his first trip to the lake, his first gator, his first birthday, his first ball season and many, many more. All of this brought a tear to my eye; because today, he is 5 years old.

Can't Believe It

Well, this morning I got up got me and Waylon ready and off we went ~~>to school that is. I signed Waylon up for Kindergarten...Oh My Gosh KINDERGARTEN!! This should not be happening right now, I can't believe my baby is in Kindergarten. I mean last year was Pre-K but I made myself believe he's having fun with friends while learning, now he's in 'real' school. Not that Pre-K wasn't real but now it gets serious I guess you could say. I am going to miss his teachers and all his friends from last year but I know he will make new ones and I've heard his teacher this year is really good and strict. I hope he enjoys it as much as last year, atleast he's super excited about it anyways. And to top that off, he's asking to ride the bus ~~>I mean one step at a time please there Mister. He has wanted to ride that thing since last year but thank goodness Pre-K couldn't or I think he'd be out at the stop everyday. Now to prepare myself for him going to Kindergarten and riding the bus to get there...Oh Lordy!! Why do they hve to grow up so fast??

Looking Around

Here lately, I have enjoyed sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair just looking around. Normally I watch the boys ride their 4wheeler but today I just sit there and admired the beauty of everything around me. The way my house sits, in the afternoon it gets shadey, but the mountains in the front glissens in the light of the sun. Today, there was this horse that just stood there grazing with the sun beaming down on it like an angel. It made me appreciate all that God has created: the sun, the mountains, that horse. Who can deny Him with all this beauty right here in front of you everyday.

I guess today just reminded me to take time everyday and enjoy all that is around you. It all was made for purpose and reason, be thankful everyday that you live in a place full of beauty. Treat everyday as if it's your last because someday, you'll be right.

Guess Its Time...

Well, I've said it over and over again, 'I will not become a blogger' -- guess I that didn't last long!!
Let me start my telling you a little about myself. I have 3 amazing kids, 2 wild boys and 1 little spoiled princess. They are my world! I am married to my 'middle school sweetheart' I guess you could call him that. After a few years of the on/off thing we had 3 kids and got married (I'm sure you'll hear more about them). I have a degree in Computer Technologies and love to make things for my babies. I lived in South Carolina all my life and 2 years ago we packed everything that would fit into our cars and hit the road to Tennessee. This was one of the craziest things I've ever done; by the way, and love it! I wouldn't change a thing except maybe having our families around more.
